Here is one deep, stout bull with a thick mossy hair coat. Dam -
3073 did an excellent job raising this calf and she is as pretty and
easy doing of a cow as you will see. There is good low birth
weight bred into this cow family as maternal grandmother only had one
calf over 90lbs out of 8 and many of her sons were used on heifers.
Most of the visitors here pick Dam 3073 as one of my best cows. I
feel this bull calf represents a complete package for where we
believe the cattle industry is headed. Dam, 3073, weighs a shade
over 1200lbs. 0607 has an ideal birth weight, exceptional growth
performance, bred in natural thickness, a well balanced carcass, and a
frame score that most believe is a thing of the past. Mother cows
like 3073 are what I believe to be the ideal beef cow and are what has
kept us in business with the ever-growing input costs associated with
the beef industry today.
