   Both Great grand-dam (8539) average NR of 107 and YR of 104 on 12 calves - Dam of Distinction and Grand-dam (9310) were purchased by the late Bill O'Brien of Madison Wisconsin - a long time Hereford breeder and enthusiast for $6000/hd. Dam (9509) also owned by O'Brien has an average NR of 103 and YR of 101 on seven calves including two full brothers that sold into a Montana commercial herd that was a past Commercial Hereford breeder of the year and a full sister (0014) with an average NR of 100 and YR of 101 on 4 calves including my 3003 herd bull pictured above.  0551 is yet one more example of why his sire 9806 has earned the right to die on my ranch.
